To produce high quality monthly magazine, Digitalk
The creative pitch to produce Sky’s internal monthly magazine has been the most hotly contested tendering process we’ve ever been involved in, with agencies from London, Edinburgh and Glasgow competing for the job. It’s been three years now since we first clinched the deal and our enthusiasm to produce a high quality, 20 page publication every four weeks is just as strong as when the champagne first popped.
How we did it
From initial client discussions it was clear Digitalk, aimed at Sky Supply Chain staff, needed to be glossy, chatty, informative and entertaining. However it also had to be editorially balanced, appealing to employees across the UK and with different skill sets. Our first issue totally hit the mark, meeting every single aspect of the brief and delighting our client. Since then we’ve pulled out all the stops to keep Digitalk at the highest level of creativity and quality. Continually initiating ideas for copy and content, developing new designs and implementing fresh layouts, we work hard with our client to successfully drive the publication forward, while increasing readership, response and contribution. Since we took on Digitalk, the magazine has been shortlisted twice for a Scottish Communication Award, winning a Highly Commended Award in 2010.
